Computational Symmetry: Past, Present, and Future
Translation Symmetry

Rotation Sample

We provide a data set of 20 images with translation symmetry. They show a variety of objects with varying difficulty: buildings, fences, cloth, etc.

The information in the ground truth files follows this format:

W H

X Y V X Y V ...

X Y V X Y V ...

...

Where:

W = the number of nodes in each row of the lattice
H = the number of nodes in each column of the lattice
X = x-coordinate of a node (in pixels)
Y = y-coordinate of a node (in pixels)
V = 1 if the node is valid, 0 if the node is invalid (useful for occlusion)

Please also reference our Lattice Editor , which can be used to edit the ground truth or create new ones of your own images.
